Having access to the first two floors of the museum, we will celebrate the kid in us that finally gets to play outside and be reminded why teachers are so important! With the goal to raise $100,000 towards elevating the teaching profession and the In Teachers We Trust Endowment Fund, enjoy a night of  live music, great raffle prizes and networking. This amazing event will be the best Adult Field Trip you have ever taken!

Mixer Above the Lake

The purpose of the Mixer Above the Lake is to recognize our donors and raise $25,000 for the “In Teachers We Trust” Fund.  The purpose of the “In Teachers We Trust” Fund is to fund innovative strategies for teacher compensations that aren’t tied to the traditional sources of teacher pay.

The Last Supper of Summer

The Last Supper of Summer is a spin-off of the Million Dollar Teacher Project’s popular “Take a Teacher to Lunch” program. The MDTP is bringing the party out of the classroom and into the community so we can celebrate teachers together just in time for the back-to-school season. The night will be full of good food, and great people.

Your Role:*

Growing the Tree

Million Dollar Teacher Tree was first developed in a classroom by students in a program called, Next Generation Service Corps at Arizona State University in December of 2017. These students were tasked by Lloyd Hopkins, founder of Million Dollar Teacher project with developing a project that can potentially become an integral part in helping MDTP achieve its mission. The group eventually developed the original prototype for Million Dollar Teacher Tree—a cutout dollar sign that would be placed in surrounding businesses near the partner school. The idea was pitched to staff members of MDTP during the last of their class, and the project was picked up by MDTP as a new pilot program for the organization. After many months of planning, the prototype was eventually revamped into what it is today, Million Dollar Teacher Tree.
